Why Men And Women Love
Thursday, April 28th, 2011As a father of a boy and a girl, I gave witness to both subtle and obvious differences in feminine and masculine. Certainly, each sex has its own agenda of personality and the establishment of their worldview. There are reports however, suggest that the main differences between the minds and spirits boy women are constructs of society, and while it is certainly well-defined cultural roles for both, it does not take a psychiatrist to understand that Nature has endowed men and women with their own guidelines and values.
In antiquity, Greek mythology tells us that once men and women were equal, but Zeus, supreme god, decided to divide them and because both wanted to meet. What is interesting about this is that great thinkers like the philosopher Otto Weininger and the Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Jung, were pioneers in suggesting that men and women are joined by two women and men. Jung called the shadow of himself and the name of the male component into the female psyche, the animus, and the female component in the male psyche, anima.
The image of the soul is what we, as a man, believed to be the perfect woman. It is always a combination of a friend, best mother’s sister and lover, while the image of the animus is more complex and connected to all the myths of heroism of the men, the slayer of dragons, knights in armor and so on , however, is the perfect man in his inner vision of true masculinity. When it comes to attracting the love between a man and a woman, plus one other party in images, the more attractive.
